Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we get most often about booking, rates, and service.

The questions our dispatchers answer most, with the actual numbers. If yours is not here, call (504) 320-8448 — a dispatcher answers, 24 hours a day.

How do I book a limo or airport transfer in New Orleans?

Call (504) 320-8448 or book online for an instant quote. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and a real dispatcher answers the phone rather than a call centre.

How much is a car from New Orleans airport to the French Quarter?

A sedan is $126.50 all-in for up to 2 passengers, an SUV is $159 for up to 6, and a 14-passenger Executive Sprinter is $265. Those prices include gratuity and the fuel surcharge, so the number you are quoted is the number you pay.

Is there an airport shuttle at New Orleans airport?

Not the staffed shared-ride desks most travellers expect — those are gone from MSY. Operators still advertising a shuttle are quoting per person for what is really a group charter. For one or two people rideshare is usually cheapest; for a group a private vehicle is normally cheaper per head and always less trouble.

How far is New Orleans airport from downtown?

MSY is about 15 miles west of downtown in Kenner, typically 20 to 30 minutes. Allow longer in morning and evening peaks, on Convention Center event days, and during festivals when parade routes close streets.

Do you track flights?

Yes. Every airport transfer includes real-time flight tracking, so your chauffeur adjusts automatically if you land early or late. A delay moves the pickup rather than costing you the ride.

Where does the chauffeur meet me at MSY?

Inside at baggage claim, with a name board — not a text message from a car park. Curbside pickup is available if you prefer it; tell dispatch when you book.

What size groups can you handle?

From a single passenger in a sedan up to 56 in the motorcoach, and multiple vehicles for larger programmes. The fleet runs sedans, SUVs, a stretch limo, Sprinters, executive buses, party buses and an MCI motorcoach.

How many people fit in a Sprinter van?

Our Executive Mercedes Sprinter seats 14 with a luggage bay that holds 14 people's bags. The Limo Sprinter seats 12 in a lounge layout. If you are more than 14, the next step up is a 23-passenger Executive Bus.

Is a shuttle cheaper than a private car?

It depends on party size. Per-head shuttle pricing at MSY runs around $24 a person. Our SUV is $159 all-in for up to six, so a private vehicle becomes cheaper per head at about four to six passengers, and at 14 in a Sprinter it works out around $18.93 a head.

How are rates quoted?

Up front, by vehicle, before you book. Airport transfers are all-in flat rates that include gratuity and the fuel surcharge. Hourly charters are quoted per hour with a minimum booking length, and on hourly work gratuity and fuel are additional.

Is there a minimum booking?

Hourly charters carry a minimum: 3 hours on sedans, SUVs and the Executive Sprinter, 4 hours on the stretch limo, Limo Sprinter, buses and party buses, and 5 hours on the motorcoach. Airport transfers have no minimum — they are a flat rate each way.

What areas do you serve?

New Orleans and the greater metro, including all of Orleans and Jefferson Parishes, plus St. Tammany Parish on the North Shore — Mandeville, Covington and Slidell. North Shore trips are charters with a 3-hour minimum plus travel time rather than flat-rate transfers.

Do you serve the cruise terminals?

Yes. The Julia Street and Erato Street terminals are about 25 minutes from MSY. We handle arrival-day airport-to-hotel runs, pre-cruise days, and the disembarkation-morning run back to the airport, which is the one most people leave too late.

Can I drive the vehicle myself?

No. Every vehicle comes with a professional chauffeur. We are not a rental company — there is no self-drive option on any vehicle in the fleet.

Are your chauffeurs licensed?

Yes. Chauffeurs are PAX-certified, background-checked and licensed for commercial passenger transport, and the larger vehicles are driven by CDL holders.

Can we drink alcohol in the vehicle?

Passengers of legal drinking age may drink in the limo, party buses and Limo Sprinter. No glass containers and no smoking in any vehicle. The chauffeur does not serve drinks.

Do you handle weddings and proms?

Yes, and they are a large part of what we do. Wedding work usually means a guest shuttle running between hotel and venue plus a late return; prom and wedding Saturdays in April and May book out early, particularly the stretch limo.

How far in advance should I book?

Most bookings come in two to five days ahead and that is usually fine. Event weekends are different — Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Saints and LSU home games, Essence and Super Bowl weekends run on different availability and pricing, and those need weeks or months of notice.

Where do large vehicles pick up in the French Quarter?

Not on Bourbon Street — Quarter streets are narrow, frequently one-way and closed to large vehicles during events, so neither a party bus nor a stretch limo can collect there. Pickups stage on Canal Street, Convention Center Boulevard or at your hotel entrance, and dispatch names the exact corner when you book.

What happens if my flight is cancelled or delayed overnight?

Call (504) 320-8448 as soon as you know. Flight tracking handles same-day delays automatically, but an overnight change needs a rebooking, and we would rather move it than have a car waiting for a passenger who is not coming.
