Cadillac Escalade ESV in New Orleans

The Escalade ESV is the long-wheelbase Escalade, and the difference matters here. The extra length goes into cargo space behind the third row, which is the part most people get wrong when booking an SUV for an airport run. A standard SUV seats six but stops seating six the moment everyone has a suitcase. The ESV takes six passengers and their luggage at the same time.

What a Premium SUV Actually Fits

Six passengers with full-size bags is the honest ceiling for an MSY run. Four passengers with golf clubs, ski bags or a week of cruise luggage is comfortable. If you are seven or more, or if everyone has two checked bags, the Executive Sprinter is the right call and we will tell you so rather than sell you a vehicle you will be unhappy in.

Where It Gets Used Most

Airport transfers to and from MSY, corporate travel where arriving in a black SUV is the point, and hotel-to-venue runs for weddings where the couple wants something quieter than a limo. It is also the default for cruise-terminal transfers from Uptown and the Garden District, where the streets are too narrow for anything larger.

Escalade ESV vs Standard SUV

Our standard SUV is a Suburban, Yukon XL or Navigator at $120 base and $159 all-in to the airport. The premium SUV is $150 base and $198 all-in. You are paying roughly $39 for the Escalade badge, a quieter cabin, better rear-seat room and the ESV cargo bay. For a client pickup or a wedding it is usually worth it; for a solo airport run it usually is not, and we would rather you spent the difference on the trip you actually need.
