What's Included
Every airport transfer includes real-time flight tracking, so your chauffeur adjusts automatically if you land early or late. Meet-and-greet at baggage claim, luggage assistance, and complimentary wait time are standard.
Rates are quoted up front and locked when you book. Choose a sedan for one to three passengers, an SUV for up to six, or a Mercedes Sprinter for larger groups and heavy luggage.
How Long Does MSY to the French Quarter Take?
About 25 to 35 minutes in normal traffic — the Quarter sits roughly 16 miles east of the airport via I-10. Allow longer in the weekday evening peak, on Convention Center event days, and during Carnival and festival weekends when parade routes close streets across the CBD and the approach changes entirely.
What It Costs
$126.50 all-in for a sedan carrying up to two passengers, $159 for an SUV carrying up to six, $265 for a 14-passenger Executive Sprinter. Those are all-in figures — gratuity and the fuel surcharge are already included, so the number quoted is the number paid. No surge on late arrivals, weekends or event dates.
Where Your Chauffeur Meets You
Inside at baggage claim with a name board. Flight tracking is on every transfer, so a delay moves the pickup automatically rather than costing you the ride. If you would rather be collected curbside, say so when booking and dispatch will arrange it.
Dropping Off in the Quarter
Most Quarter hotels are straightforward for a sedan or SUV. Larger vehicles are a different matter: the streets are narrow, many are one-way, and several close during events, so a Sprinter or bus will stage on Canal Street, Decatur or at your hotel entrance instead. Tell dispatch the hotel and they will confirm the drop point before you land.
Rideshare, Taxi or a Private Transfer
For one or two people travelling light, rideshare is usually cheapest — though the pickup zone is a walk from baggage claim and prices surge on event weekends. A taxi means the rank, which grows quickly when several flights land together. A private transfer costs more than either for a couple, and less per head from about four passengers, with the difference being that it is booked, priced and waiting before you land.
